Common Questions
--------------------------
What is the swap all about?

The Frag Swap is an event to meet other people in the saltwater aquarium hobby. There are trades, raffles, educational seminars, auctions, and lots of other fun events. It is a great way to meet other people in your area that share your love of the reefs and also a perfect place to get more information on this exciting hobby.

What do I need to bring to the swap?

Aside from money, nothing. You can buy items from our vendors onsite and bring them home to stock your aquarium.

Can I bring friends?

Absolutely, the swap is open to everyone. A lot of people bring their whole families (children under 15 are free), we have a nice lunch and snacks throughout the day. Also there is a cafeteria onsite if you would like something special.

What time is best to arrive?

It depends on what you want to do. Smart people stay all day because each time slot offers something different. The mornings are usually filled with a lot of people running around trying to see everything before items get purchased, after the swap starts we will have frag demonstrations and the guest speakers throughout the day. Around lunch time we host our famous livestock auction, but the end of the day has excitement as well. The raffle is the last item of the day and will start around 4:00. Following the raffle the vendors occasionally run special sales as they are packing up. Like we said before, it is a good idea to be there as long as you can so you can see all of the events. A full schedule is posted on the RSVP page.

The swap is a really fun event and we hope you will stop in to see what it is all about!

See you there.
