Help....coral zit

any idea what this is on my coral?
does not look healthy
been having a hard time with an sps coral as well

The only thing I could find is this. I would need a more definitive picture to help alittle more. I don't like soft coral so I never had this issue.

It could just be splitting. They form a hole them a peice drops to make a second one

can u easily access the coral to smell it? not too close... just to get an idea if its smells rancid.

turkey blast the hole, do particles shoot out from the hole?
