so ive been on led for like a month still only on 50% of maxium output weening them slowly i have 3 fixtures over my 125 its 5feet long ive noticed a bloom in algae on my glass my phosphates were at one figured out it must be the frozen food so know am straining it now and added phosphate buster like 2 days ago do ya think my lights might be on to longi want ya to post your light cycles up heres how mine goes
12p-8pm white and blues are on
8pm whites turn of blue stays on till 12am
at 11pm 48inch led moon lights turn on till 12pm before my white lights turn on
lights are about 12inches from water what should i change all my perimeters are good except the 1@phosphate i also use rodi water

This is just me but I kept my led whites on for 7 hours, blues for 12 and moon lights for 3 hrs then the tank was left dark..

12 pm - 7pm whites
9am - 9pm blues
9 pm - 10 pm moon lights
7 am - 9 am moonlights
10 pm - 7 am tank dark

I had no sps.

just about the same with me... moon light on all the time cus they are very dem... blue lights on at 6am and i try to turn on my whites at 12pm but most of the time its at 3pm cus of work whites turn off at7 or 8 pm blues turn off at 10 or 11 pm moon lights on 24 7

Wrong ! Your lights can stay on for longer then 7 hours , my lights are on for 12 hours with MH lighting , a lot stronger then your LEDs , algae is a part of this hobby and its not going go away because its "nature" if your getting high alge blooms it is because of" nutrients " as long as you have no nutrients their will be no high algae blooms in your tank !

And if your getting algae booms its either A - because it's time to replace your bulbs -B - your nutrients are to high or C- you need to check twice on the filtration system u have down below =)
