Anyone ever experience this? Received a healthy Blasto on Sunday, did a 3 hour acclimation along with 2 zoa and a hammer. did a soak with Revive for 10 minutes and then placed in Tank. Placed next to my other healthy Wellsi and turned off lights. Next morning, everything was opening except for the Blasto. When i went to mount it last night, skeleton, with very little color left.

Anyone ever experience this before or was it just a dud

*Not blaming the seller at all btw, duds happen no matter what.

10 minutes on some LPS can be aggressive. Also 3 hour acclimation is a long time too for coral. I usually bring to temp and throw it in. Not that I'm recommending that...but my point is that a long acclimation is typically not needed for coral.

I agree w/above long acclimation isn't necessary for most corals.

What's your calcium & alkalinity? I see it was only a day but.. helps to know.

and when did that blasto arrive at the shop u bought it from? was it there awhile or did it just come in? Sundays are usually arrival day.... for transshipped corals.
