Your tank looks great! I have a similar set up but can't seem to fit the AI Nano light underneath due to the rear cables hitting the AC20 HOB. How did you work around that?

Thanks.

Thanks! Sorry for taking so long to reply. I had to chip away some of the plastic towards the front of the hood, where it connected to the mesh so that the AI Nano could sit flush with the front of the hood. I'll take some pics later.

Quick update. Got some new frags pics to follow. Got rid of the Chromis and had to get rid of my Emerald Crab. He got way too big and was knocking stuff over left and right. Picked up a Tanaka's Pygmy Wrasse. Got it from Fishtown USA for $30, they had it labeled as a Possum Wrasse. LiveAquaria.com sells Pygmy Wrasses for $50 plus shipping. Score!

I wonder how the ph is. And the o2 level. I always had low ph issues when i had my open top 40br. Interested in starting one of these.

I have no idea on the O2 levels. My ph is pretty steady between 8.0 and 8.3. These tanks look really great when running perfect but it is a major PITA to maintain and scape due to the small opening. I wouldn't recommend it LOL.

Hi, awesome tank! I'm using a 12 gallon edge for my new setup as well (just waiting for my lights). I also, will be using an MP10 for flow. Did you have to cut a hole in the plastic on the back for the dry side to stick, or does it stick right on through the plastic and glass (that would be great!)? Also, are you still running the MP10 @ 50% in reefcrest mode? Thanks

What lights are you going with?

I went with the new dimmable 18 watt EdgeBrite. It's pricey, but I didn't want to mod it myself and it looks exactly like the stock hood. I would post a couple of pics, but I don't yet have 5 posts.
