I ran a tank about that size with a Mag 5. You could also use a Mag 7 and put as gate valve on the output of the pump to adjust the flow. Be sure to place a union valve to connect the pump (so you can remove it easily to service it).

I'm sure there is also an Eheim that will do a great job, but I am unsure of their numbering system on pumps. Maybe someone else can chime in with that info.

That looks like a custom made sump and well made should be self explanatory fill the tank up let it run down the pvc down to ur sump. once all sections are fill u should be good from there...but just to make sure cut the power off and see if ur sump over flows if it come flow to over flowing just remove some water...

Custom King Sump. the return never really fills up all the way is that ok it makes so much noise when it is not covered by water.

Great, Like Kathy said you can run either a mag 5 (45 watts), or mag 7 (70 watts) and throttle it back, or you can also use an eheim 1250 (28 watts), or an 1260 (65 watts) and throttle that back.
As far as which one you want to go with will depend on what you want your turnover rate to be. I my self like a 3-5x turnover, and make up the rest with power heads.

Ok so I ended up getting a mag 12 yea I know it may be over kill but I think it is great flow for the tank and my return is 1 inch up and just at the tip it is 3/4 in the tank so I think I am only pushing about 700 in the tank can anyone let me know where the calculator would be.
