anyone breeding BLACK Amphiprion polymnus?

Does anyone on RDO know of BLACK Saddleback Anemonefish being successfully captively bred?

Hiya Gary- I think I remember reading about one occurance that took place in a fellas 150 reef tank. Other than that I have not heard of any.

I also have a pair of them (Vert20 on ReefCentral) and am hoping to get them breeding. They are in my 155 BF with a huge green S. Haddoni.

They have been cleaning a site, and the female is huge! but alas nothing as of yet. This has been going on for a couple of months now.

Gary, just as an update...

I picked up another pair last week. They have been steady laying nests every week for their previous owner in OR that was doing some tank rearranging and needed to get rid of them.

The female is easily 6" and the male is about 4" They have been acclimated to their new home, and have already began cleaning of a nesting site. Hopefully I will have reports of successful hatches before too long.
