Brain coral question

Do brain corals need to be fed. Or are they ok with just light? I currently have 2 150watt 10k metal halide bulbs and my tank is 29 inches deep.

i don't know the answer to that, but i will tell you that i feed mine, at night after the lights go out, and he looks alot fuller during the day since i started this.

I don't think they NEEED to be fed to SURVIVE, but my opinion is that they defninitly need to be fed to THRIVE.

It's kinda like just watering your flower bed vs. watering AND fertilizing it.

That being said, I DO feed my brains when I think about it.

ps.. they LOVE frozen cyclopeez if you can find them.

Can they be fed filter feeder type food or meaty chunks only?
