Fuzzy Green Mushroom

I got this mushroom in the spring as a group of four, i kept this one and gave the other three to my niece. It was injured when i got it, about 1/4 of it was in bad shape but healed nicely. At the time it looked like any other FGM other than the damaged area had no tentacles. The tentacles parts grew into the white pillows you now see and it was fringed with blue tentacles. When my tank crashed a few weeks ago the mouth opened up for a few days, then you could see the rock in the center where the shroom was deteriorating. At this time the tentacles deflated and I thought it was'nt going to make it. After a week and a half of daily 25% water changes it started to puff up again and looked like it might split, I kept an eye on it and sure enough it split into 3 shrooms. All 3 are doing well now although the blue fringe is gone.

Does anyone have any idea how long before they grow mouths again?
