I have a 55 Gallon Standard tank and was wondering what my best option for for lights would be for a reef.....Would like to keep a little of everything......

LED are too expensive for me at this time..........

Metal Halide - How many ? Brand ?
T5 - How many bulbs ? Brand ?

I have Power Compacts now...........

what's your depth,width,length?
More deep.you need a more high power light.
I guess T5 HO 6bulbs may be enough for you.
