My Favorite Acan - Focus Stacked!

I've had this acan for a year, it came in neon green, then morphed to this! I've seen thousands of Acan colonies and this is my all-time favorite. The color is insane under any light! The only time i've sold any frags was at MACNA last year before the color change... You can still see that areas that are slightly shaded still retail the original neon green color!

Just for teasing everyone... no frags for sale yet! I don't even have a name yet for this one!

Yes that is a morph JuniorMC has been propagating. I've seen it in person, but this acan is quite different. On some of the shaded areas the polyps are almost entirely neon green! I'll take a few more pics to illustrate...

Thanks! I dropped my 50mm lens the other day, I have to see if it still works and do a colony shot...

i was thinkin of gettin an acan but i hear they eat a lot of things, what will they harm?

They are only moderately aggressive. They won't harm any of your fish and as far as other corals just give them a little room and all will be well.
