We're building an encyclopedia of reefing knowledge for the reefkeeping community and we need your help!
We're awarding amazing prizes to the participants that add the BEST articles to the wiki during the contest period. This can mean one AMAZING article, ten really good articles, a hundred complete articles, whatever our judges decide is the most valuable contribution to the reefing community as a whole. The contest officially begins April 7, 2008 and ends June 7, 2008. All contest participants will be judged by the SDMAS Steering committee members and the winners will be announced on June 14th.
The idea is that while we LOVE all of our reefkeeping forums, sometimes it's difficult or impractical to sift through 24 pages of forum posts just to try getting the parts list for that DIY project you planned to build, or to find out whether stigmata blennies are reef safe. So we've put this wiki together to help provide a more condensed version of our community's knowledge and experience. The idea is that each of us may know a little bit, but together we know quite a lot. We can share this experience to make the hobby better for everyone.
THE RULES
HOW TO ENTER
Anyone may participate, you only need a SDMAS forums account to start adding wiki articles. To officially enter the contest, just send an email to [email protected] with your username and full name, and you'll be added to the 2008 wiki contest participants.

The GRAND PRIZE will be an ultimate frag pack, any TEN FRAGS of your choice! The list includes:

- Articles may cover the entire marine aquarium spectrum, from livestock to equipment to DIY projects, etc.
- Original photos, as well as photos from other sources are strongly encouraged so long as permission is obtained from the copyright holder. Photos must be uploaded to the wiki, no hotlinks please.
- Articles must be original content, not just copied verbatim from other sources
- Where you used other sources in writing your article, CITE YOUR SOURCES, as book title/author, a link to the reefs.org thread, etc.
