Hi all,
I've been keeping mixed color ricordea for a few months now and noticed the orange and yellow ones shrinking away to nothing, whereas the green, blues and the steel blue ones seem to be doing well. In fact of all of them, the steel blue ones (which are the most drab) are doing the best.
They are all in the same area and conditions and I have not been target feeding them.
I know they like to be fed, but was wondering if for orange/yellow ones, feeding is a necessity, whereas that is optional for the others.
Also then, if I don't feed them, would they simply need more light? (I assumed these were collected from deeper waters and may be more dependent on filter feeding then photosynthesis.)
Thanks, in advance, looks like I'll be ordering another batch of oranges in the future, or maybe not.
