However, I have seen an version of the whole documentary and hopefully will get a formal copy from the director/creator of it. It's the guy in Flipper the TV show who directed or create this stunning convert filming, with lots of spy gear.
To make the story short, The "Private Space" where this slaughtering happened every year at Sept is removed after the complete version is shown in IWC by him, and the dolphin meat is removed from the food menu of Taiji where this cove is by the brave actions of the 2 Japnese councilmen, against their culture 100% loyalty to their superior, who blew the whistle about mercury food poisoning in Dolphin's meat. According to the film's conclusion, the act is only due to a very small group of people in the city where other citizens there do not even know about it. But some how this group of people get a hold of the local government to help them secure that space from outsiders, probably including their own media. After the exposion of this whoel documentary, Japanese media has started to cover mercury poisoning in the area.
