I got a brand new 100mm Pentax macro lens before I went to South Africa, but I didn't have time to properly test it on my fishtank before I left!

Mine was $600 at B&H Photo. But, my grant money paid for it because I needed it for my dissertation research - fish photos are an incidental bonus. I'm still getting the hang of properly focusing it though.
