I have the Reefkeeper 2 and it has the pinpoint ph probe, I love it.

I got it from www.aquariumspecialty.com they are a sponsor here. was 300 with shipping, but it s a controler. controls all my circulation and light cycle, as well as monitor temp and ph.

I have one something similar to the link you provided. It works and gets the job done. Its good for me since its like a pen and I can use it in my multiple tanks. just to be sure I calibrated my one with premixed const ph solution.

Get a ph monitor from pin point it is almost the same price and always on and easier/ less work to use.
