skim or skimless for 24g Aquapod

I know that on most nano tanks, you can get away without protein skimmer with weekly water changes. I will be upgrading from 12g to 24g tank. Only corals and snails, no fish, should I spent money on protein skimmer? I read alot of aquapod 24g with Remora?

also, if you're going to be running the aquapod topless, i'd look into a remora (regular or nano version). the sapphire skimmers are made to fit even with the lid closed. to skim or not to skim? there are many things you need to consider. how big will your bioload be? (how many fish?) how lazy are you? (skimming will help if you're lazy) are you dosing supplements? (skimming might take some good stuff out of the water) etc etc. personally, i say skim.

I will using 150 MH, so topless, I have Remora in mind. No fish and I'm lazy, so I'll probably go with skimmer. Thanks.

Don't waste your money on the Sapphire if your going topless. Get a remora or a tunze.
