Just wanted to share my Deep Blue 30 gal. 24"x24"x12" rimless frag tank. It has been set up now for 4 years. It is tied to my DT and running a 6 bulb ATI fixture over it.

Very nice. This is very u make colorful frags.

Well here's the kicker. For some reason some frags do not color up well under this fixture. Some come very colorful from my DT, also under ATIs, and they loose some color after a couple of weeks in my frag tank. Others however do keep their color nicely. It all just depends on the coral.

Next upgrade I will make is getting better pumps. I think, at least in part, this all may have to do with flow.

I think the tank looks great! In my humble opinion, I would get any run of the mill 18" strip of led lights and add on. even this would help, for example, www.lighting-spot.com/led-18-inch-linkable-under-cabinet-strip.html?fee=9&fep=6912&gclid=Cj0KEQiAgMKmBRDMjo_F9OfUubABEiQAp8Ky1702MqPv8yQp0mWyKAggWQprLIwS51HhDTa0mUW2lIAaAjZJ8P8HAQ

Thanks BioMan. Indeed I may have to further supplement my existing lighting. Short term is not a problem but growing out colonies with same color as from my DT has been a bit challenging. However growth has been great!
