There are a number of way the to get ready of ich.

1. Remove all the fish and leave the tank empty for about 8 weeks.

2. Treat with copper, you'll need to get a test kit to make sure you're at the correct level. To little doesn't work and to high can kill the fish.

3. Doing Hyposaltiy where you lower the SG, over a couple days, to 1.007 and leave it for 6-8 weeks. Hypos will only work if you're sure you have ich.

4. Take the tank down and completely clean it out with hot water and some bleach. Change the sand/gravel and clean out all the filters.

Finally before you add any new fish QT them for at least 2-3 weeks.

Treat the fish with copper solution in a separate hospital tank, and leave the main display tank without fish for 6 weeks, which is the life cycle of ich. Technically once in the tank its nearly impossibly to get rid of it but letting your tank cycle should get most of it.
There's lots and lots of great info on treating Ich on WetWebMedia.com
just go there and search for "ich" and uncle bob fenner will take care of you.
